Christmas parties at The Left Bank
Christmas enquiries are open. We welcome enquiries for Christmas meals, work gatherings and festive celebrations at 33-35 Gibson Street in Glasgow's West End.
The festive menu is three courses, £42 per person.
Christmas Eve till 11pm · closed Christmas Day · Boxing Day and New Year's Day 5pm till 1am · festive menu 1 to 31 December.
The Left Bank is an independent restaurant and vinyl listening bar: a proper kitchen, a good bar, records on the turntables every night, and spaces for groups of different sizes. Whether it is a work Christmas party, a long table of friends or a small festive dinner, tell us what you have in mind and we will come back to you with what works.
Two of you, or a table of six? Ask and we will do our best.
Buying for someone? Gift cards never expire.
Or email contact@theleftbank.co.uk or call 0141 339 5969. An enquiry starts the conversation; it does not hold a table until we have confirmed the booking with you.
What kind of gathering?
Christmas at The Left Bank takes a few different shapes:
- A seated Christmas meal with colleagues or friends, from a table for a few people to a long table upstairs.
- A work Christmas party on the mezzanine, seated for dinner, or talk to us about a standing layout.
- A smaller gathering in the pod, a tucked-away table for up to eight for dining or twelve for drinks.
- Drinks, or a listening-bar gathering by arrangement, with the records doing the work.
The music plays right through the festive season. We keep things simple: good food, a proper bar and a room that sounds right.
The spaces
The Left Bank has 65 seats in total.
The mezzanine. Upstairs, reached by stairs only. Seats up to 37 for dining, or up to 50 for a drinks party.
The pod. A tucked-away table for up to 8 for dining, or 12 for a drinks party.
The listening bar area. The main room, built around the vintage Bose 901s and the vinyl decks. It can be reserved for the right night. Tell us what you have in mind.
Whether a space is yours alone or shared with other guests depends on the night and the numbers; we agree it when we confirm your enquiry. For larger groups than the spaces above, email us and we will talk it through.
The entrance from the street is step-free, and there is an accessible toilet and baby change on the ground floor. If anyone in your party has access requirements, tell us when you enquire and we will suggest the right space.
